About

I’m a college consultant with over four years of experience working at boutique firms and now running my own independent practice.

I’m a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the MFA program in Creative Writing at the University of Montana, where I taught composition classes and fiction workshops. My background also includes work with literary agencies and publications such as Outside Magazine, a local newspaper in Alaska, and Yale Medicine Magazine.

Outside of my work, I’m an ocean lifeguard, surfer, and fly fisherman, and I grew up on the East Coast—experiences which inform my grounded, narrative-driven approach.
